Advanced Higher Geography
Advanced Higher Geography is split into three parts.
Part 1 - Geographical methods and techniques (GMT). In this section you will learn many new techniques including statistics and cartography. This section will be assessed with an SQA exam (two and a half hours) and makes up 30% of your mark.
Part 2 - Geographical Issue. In this section you will research a global geographical issue and produce a twelve page, 1500 work report. This is worth 30% of your final mark.
Part 3 - Geographical Study. In this section you will choose a local project and produce a twenty five page, 3000 word report. This is worth 40% of your final mark.
